This chapter records the last of the revelations of the Qur’an. Aya 3 in Suratul Maida (5)
revealed in Ghadir Khum after the appointment of Imam Ali (pbuh) as his successor:
“This day I have perfected for you your religion and completed My favour upon you and have
approved for you Islam as your religion.”
