There did Zakariya pray to his Lord; he said:
Zakariyya was one of those who was entrusted with the upkeep of Baytul Muqaddas. He married Sayyida Maryam’s elder sister Eisha and became Maryam’s guardian. Childless, at the age of seventy five he sees Maryam with out of season fruit in her secluded room. When he asks her where they were from, she replies “It is from Allah”. There and then he asks for a child and five years later, Eisha gives birth to a son Yahya.
