When Yusuf said to his father: O my father! surely I saw eleven stars and the sun and the moon –
The name Yusuf metaphorically means an increase in blessings. At the age of 12 he sees a dream of the sun, the moon and eleven stars prostrating to him. From there on began a journey from the bottom of a well in Jordan to Egypt, from a free man to a slave, a prisoner and then to governor; and finally the realisation of the dream when his father, mother and eleven siblings unite with him in Egypt. Prophet Yusuf died at the age of 120 years.
