65 AL MAAJID – THE NOBLE

THE ONE WHOSE PERFECTION OF NOBILITY IS DECLARED THROUGH HIS GENEROSITY.

Allah’s mercy and His blessings upon you, members of the household. Indeed He is The Praiseworthy, The Glorious.  11:73

The difference between Al Majeed and Al Maajid (65) is that Al Majeed signifies extensiveness whilst Al Maajid is particular to specific deeds.

“If the first of you and the last… the living and the dead, were to ask Me, it will not decrease what is with Me in anything at all just as any of you may pass by a sea shore and immerse a needle therein then takes it out. This is so because I am al-Maajid‎; I do whatever I please; My giving is only a word: Whenever I desire something, I say to it ‘Be!’ and it is.” HADITH QUDSI

REFLECTION

…and He gave you all that you had asked Him. If you enumerate Allah’s blessings, you will not be able to count them. Indeed the human being is unjust and ungrateful.  14:34

The One Who ensures that every human wish is fulfilled provided it actualises nobility of character.
