57 AL MUHSI – THE APPRAISER

THE ONE WHO ANALYSES, COUNTS AND RECORDS NOTHING GETS LOST WITH AL MUHSI. HE KNOWS THE TRUE VALUE OF EVERYTHING VISIBLE AND INVISIBLE.

أَحْصَاهُ اللَّهُ وَنَسُوهُ ۚ وَاللَّهُ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ شَهِيدٌ……
“…Allah has kept a count of it, while they have forgotten, and Allah is witness to all things.” 58:6

Al Muhsi is the One who knows everything inside and outside in detail and then records the results which never get forgotten. Even the smallest of deeds is recorded. Every good deed is comes back tenfold and a bad deed only once.

The English word computer comes from the Latin word ‘computare’, which means ‘to calculate’, ‘to count’, ‘to think’, or ‘to sum up’. The counting and recording of a computer is minuscule compared to Al Muhsi who also knows the true value of everything.

 وَإِنْ تَعُدُّوا نِعْمَتَ اللَّهِ لَا تُحْصُوهَا 
“…If you count Allah’s blessings, you will not be able to appraise them…” 14:34

Al Muhsi gives us the capacity to see the blessings in every aspect of life.
