56 AL HAMEED – THE PRAISEWORTHY

EVERY SINGLE CREATION IN THE UNIVERSE FROM AN ATOM TO THE MOUNTAINS DOES HIS HAMD (PRAISE AND GRATITUDE) WITH SINCERITY BY BEING TRUE TO THEIR EXISTENCE AS ORDAINED BY HIM.

To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth, Indeed Allah is The Rich, The Praiseworthy. 22:64

To praise and thank Allah does not mean to see the blessing, but to acknowledge the One Who has given it.

‘If you love Allah, then follow me; Allah will love you and forgive you your sins, and Allah is The All encompassing Forgiver, The Extra Kind to Believers.’ 3:31

The name Muhammad means the one who is most praised on the earth whilst Ahmed is the most praised in the heavens (in the world of souls).

REFLECTION

The Prophet (pbuh) advised us to say اَلْحَمْدُ لِلّٰه (All Praise and Gratitude belongs to Allah) at every occasion, knowing that everything is praiseworthy even if the ego fails to understand.

To know that we do not know is the beginning of understanding AL Hameed.

Just as Sayyida Zaynab said after the event of Karbala:
(I saw nothing but Beauty)

BENEFITS OF RECITATION
