51 AL HAQQ – THE TRUTH

ALLAH IS THE ABSOLUTE TRUTH – EVERYTHING HE DOES IS THE TRUTH AND WHEN HE SPEAKS, ALL FALSEHOOD DISAPPEARS. HE NEVER CHANGES AND HE IS THE ABSOLUTE REALITY. ONLY TRUTH IS CONSTANT. IT IS A TESTIMONY THAT HIS JUDGEMENT AND KNOWLEDGE ARE PERFECT. THE TRUTH NEEDS NO TESTIMONY.

ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّ اللَّهَ هُوَ الْحَقُّ
“It is because Allah is The Truth……” 22:6

اَللّٰهُمَّ اَرِنِيْ حَقِيْقَةَ الْاَشْيآءَ كَمَا هِيَ
“O Allah, Show me the truth of things as they truly are.” Dua taught by the Prophet (pbuh)

Each verse of the Qur’an is called an Aayaa (pl Aayaat) which means a sign. The signs (aayaat, verses) of the Qur’an lead us to The Truth. Only Truth is constant and real.

وَقُلْ جَاءَ الْحَقُّ وَزَهَقَ الْبَاطِلُ ۚ إِنَّ الْبَاطِلَ كَانَ زَهُوقًا
And say, ‘The truth has come, and falsehood has vanished. Indeed falsehood is bound to vanish.’ 17:81

Divine Truth gives freedom by breaking the shackles of delusion (baatil) and its manifestation appears as one who always speaks the truth, listens and believes in it and that is when all falsehood disappears.
Truth will always remain the truth and will eventually prevail.
