42 AL KAREEM – THE GENEROUS

ONE WHOSE IS THE SOURCE OF ALL GENEROSITY. HIS CONSTANT BLESSINGS SURPASS ALL EXPECTATIONS. HE GIVES WITHOUT BEING ASKED, WITHOUT REASON OR WHETHER ONE DESERVES IT OR NOT. AL KAREEM IS THE GENEROUS FORGIVER WHO ACCORDS NOBILITY TO THOSE WHO SEEK REFUGE IN HIM.

لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ رَبُّ الْعَرْشِ الْكَرِيمِ
…. there is no god except Him, the Generous Master of the Throne. 23:116.

His Throne is based on Generosity and Nobility. Al-Karīm is He who has made Himself accessible. He does not require that you make an appointment with Him, nor does He stipulate the usage of a particular language when communicating with Him. To Al-Karīm, every language, time, location, and request is suitable. He does not limit what you can ask for, nor for how long you can stay.

اقْرَأْ وَرَبُّكَ الْأَكْرَمُ
الَّذِي عَلَّمَ بِالْقَلَمِ
“Read, and your Master is the most Generous, Who taught by the pen” 96:3,4

His Greatest Generosity is the gift of Divine Guidance which enables the human being to reach his full potential

يَا أَيُّهَا الْإِنْسَانُ مَا غَرَّكَ بِرَبِّكَ الْكَرِيمِ
“O human being! What has turned you away from your Most Generous Master?” 82:6

H is Generous to those who take refuge on Him.  He knows your difficulties and your needs before you know them.  He gives before He is asked.  He loves to be asked of His Generosity and wishes to be asked with no limits..  You only need a focused heart to accompany your request and He promises not to turn you away empty-handed.

WHY THEN WOULD YOU TURN AWAY FROM HIM?
