41 AL JALEEL – THE MIGHTY

ONE WHO INSPIRES AWE, MAKING US REALISE THAT EVERYTHING AND EVERYONE IS WEAK IN COMPARISON. HE MAKES MANIFEST HIS MIGHT IN ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING FROM STRENGTH, KNOWLEDGE, AND POWER TO FLAWLESSNESS AND SO FORTH. HE IS MIGHTY IN EVERY ATTRIBUTE.

 فَلَمَّا تَجَلَّىٰ رَبُّهُ لِلْجَبَلِ جَعَلَهُ دَكًّا وَخَرَّ مُوسَىٰ صَعِقًا ۚ
“…. So when his Master made apparent His Might to the mountain, it crumbled to dust and Musa fainted….” 7:143

لَوْ أَنزَلْنَا هَـٰذَا ٱلْقُرْءَانَ عَلَىٰ جَبَلٍۢ لَّرَأَيْتَهُۥ خَـٰشِعًۭا مُّتَصَدِّعًۭا مِّنْ خَشْيَةِ ٱللَّهِ ۚ وَتِلْكَ ٱلْأَمْثَـٰلُ نَضْرِبُهَا لِلنَّاسِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَتَفَكَّرُونَ
Had We sent down this Quran upon a mountain, you would have certainly seen it humbled and torn apart in awe of Allah. We set forth such comparisons for people, ˹so˺ perhaps they may reflect. 59”21

The Quran mentions the same effect that revelation has on a mountain.

Al Jaleel manifests Himself through Divine Guidance.

“When Musa came at the appointed time and his Master spoke to him, he (Musa) asked, “My Master! Reveal Yourself to me so I may see You.” Allah answered, “You cannot see Me! But look at the mountain. If it remains firm in its place, only then will you see Me.”
When his Master made apparent His Might to the mountain, it t crumbled to dust and Musa fainted.  When he recovered, he cried, “I declare Your Perfection! I turn to You in repentance and I am the first of the believers.” 7:143

هُوَ ٱلَّذِى يُرِيكُمُ ٱلْبَرْقَ خَوْفًۭا وَطَمَعًۭا وَيُنشِئُ ٱلسَّحَابَ ٱلثِّقَالَ
“He is the One Who shows you lightning, inspiring ˹you with˺ hope and fear,and produces heavy clouds.” 13:12

A thunderstorm inspires awe – hope and fear. It makes us realise how powerful Al Jaleel is.

Recite YAA JALEEL to manifest the reality of things and to remove fear, worries and weakness from the heart.
