34 AL GHAFOOR – ALL ENCOMPASSING FORGIVER

AL GHAFOOR DENOTES AN EXTENSIVENESS WITH COMPASSION THAT HIDES OUR FAULTS AND TREATS THEM AS THOUGH THEY NEVER EXISTED.

“ …..Indeed He is The All Encompassing Forgive and The Rewarded of Thankfulness” 35:30

Al Ghafoor hides our faults not only in the human realm but also in the realms of the spirits and angels.

AL Ghaffar (14) forgives time after time, Al Ghafoor (34) forgives perfectly and completely.

“Say! ‘O My servants who have committed excesses against their own souls, do not despair of the mercy of Allah. Indeed Allah will forgive all sins. Indeed, He is the All Encompassing Forgiver , The Raheem (Extra Kind to Believers)” 39:53

He Who penetrates the deepest part of the heart where the unforgivable and inexcusable offences are. He lifts the veil of shame with forgiveness.

REFLECTION

The first dua (supplication) made by the human being (Prophet Adam (pbuh) was asking for forgiveness.

They (Prophet Adam & Sayyida Hawwa) said, ‘Our Master , we have wronged ourselves! If You do not forgive us and have mercy upon us, we will surely be among the losers.’ 7:23

The response from Divinity:
“Then Adam received certain words from his Master, and He turned to him, Indeed He is the Accepter of Repentance, The Raheem (Extra Kind to Believers)”. 2:37

“A bad deed that you regret in your heart is a thousand times better than the good deed that makes you proud.”
