وَٱللَّهُ يَقْبِضُ وَيَبْصُۜطُ وَإِلَيْهِ تُرْجَعُونَ…….
“…And Allah constricts and expands and to Him you shall be brought back.” 2:245
Al Qaabidh is the one who applies pressure and restricts ease forcing the human being to see his virtues and making him turn inwards to his heart – making tears flow but bringing him closer to Allah.
The greatest Divine blessings often comes from the doors that Al Qaabidh closes. They are doors that lead to destruction, distraction and despair. By closing doors, He guides us to the doors that lead us to closeness to Him and peace, purpose and one’s potential.
A person was watching a butterfly struggling to emerge from its cocoon. Wanting to help he snipped the entrance of the cocoon to expand it for the butterfly. When the butterfly came out, its wings were laden with fluid and it was unable to fly. The struggle to come out of the restriction of the cocoon was meant to drain the fluid from its wings so it could soar in the sky.
Recite YAA QAABIDH frequently for protection from tyranny and hunger.
