13 AL MUSAWWIR – THE FASHIONER

THE FASHIONER (SHAPER) WHO GIVES EVERY CREATION ITS INDIVIDUALITY AND UNIQUE BEAUTY.

هُوَ ٱللَّهُ ٱلْخَٰلِقُ ٱلْبَارِئُ ٱلْمُصَوِّرُ ۖ لَهُ ٱلْأَسْمَآءُ ٱلْحُسْنَىٰ ۚ يُسَبِّحُ لَهُۥ مَا فِى ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ ۖ وَهُوَ ٱلْعَزِيزُ ٱلْحَكِيمُ
He is Allah the Creator, the Co-ordinator, the Fashioner; His are the most excellent names; whatever is in the heavens and the earth declares His Perfection; and He is the Mighty, the Wise. 59:24

Al Musawwir is He Who shapes everything perfectly so that no two things are exactly alike in every way just like our individual finger prints.

وَمِنْ ءَايَٰتِهِۦ خَلْقُ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ وَٱخْتِلَٰفُ أَلْسِنَتِكُمْ وَأَلْوَٰنِكُمْ ۚ إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَءَايَٰتٍ لِّلْعَٰلِمِينَ
And one of His signs is the creation of the heavens and the earth and the diversity of your tongues and colours; most surely there are signs in this for the learned. 30:22

It is Al Musawwir who fashions (designs) giving everything its distinctive form, colour and shape making it exactly suited to its objective. He creates the human being with different physique, colours and languages.

To understand Al Musawwir just observe creation –
Observe a Velcro fastening that is effective with tiny hooks that grip looped fibres. The idea came from seeds such as the burdock which has a row of hooks to grip the coats of passing animals so the seeds are then carried and brushed off by undergrowth to grow new plants. 
Observe the coconut which floats away from its parent tree on the ocean currents before reaching dry land. There are special fibres round the seed that help it to float.
