04 AL QUDDOOS – THE FLAWLESS, HOLY

THE HOLY – FLAWLESS AND DEVOID OF ALL IMPERFECTIONS. HE IS PERFECT

هُوَ ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِى لَآ إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ ٱلْمَلِكُ ٱلْقُدُّوسُ ٱلسَّلَٰمُ ٱلْمُؤْمِنُ ٱلْمُهَيْمِنُ ٱلْعَزِيزُ ٱلْجَبَّارُ ٱلْمُتَكَبِّرُ ۚ 

“He is Allah, besides Whom there is no god; the King, the Holy, the Giver of peace, the Granter of security, Guardian over all, the Mighty, the Enforcer, the Possessor of every greatness 59:23

He is the one who bears no resemblance even to the most perfect of His creation. He is flawless, whole and perfect. 

ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَ سَبْعَ سَمَٰوَٰتٍ طِبَاقًا ۖ مَّا تَرَىٰ فِى خَلْقِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ مِن تَفَٰوُتٍ ۖ فَٱرْجِعِ ٱلْبَصَرَ هَلْ تَرَىٰ مِن فُطُورٍ
Who created the seven heavens one above another; you see no imperfection in the creation of the Rahmaan ; then look again, can you see any disorder? 67:3
The Qur’an exhorts us to look at the sky and see if we can find any imperfection…
Al Quddoos denotes perfection with no flaws.
“Only from the heart can you touch the sky” Rumi

“O Allah, distance me from my sins just as You have distanced The East from The West.”
“O Allah, purify me of my sins as a white robe is purified of dirt.”

Recite YAA QUDDOOS every day for relief from agitation and to expand the heart.
