99 AL SABUR – THE PATIENT

HE WHO IS NEVER IN A HURRY IN HIS ACTIONS BUT WAITS FOR THE PROPER TIME. WHEN WE DO WRONG HE ALLOWS TIME FOR US TO REPENT AND CHANGE COURSE TO COMEBACK TO HIM. HIS PATIENCE IS BEYOND OUR ABILITY TO IMAGINE.

 وَاصْبِرُوا ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ مَعَ الصَّابِرِينَ
“And be patient; indeed Allah is with the patient.” 8:46

“Haste is an attribute of madness.” Imam Ali (pbuh)

Sabr besides patience is the commitment to persevere and hang on. To maintain a consistency in ease and difficulty.
It can take a lifetime to learn patience and that is probably why it is the last of the 99 names.
