97 AL WAARITH – THE INHERITOR

THE ONE TO WHOM ALL POSSESSIONS WILL BE RETURNED. ALL COMES FROM HIM AND ALL WILL RETURN TO HIM – SOULS WHEN WE DIE AND EARTH WHEN IT ENDS.

 

وَإِنَّا لَنَحْنُ نُحْيِي وَنُمِيتُ وَنَحْنُ الْوَارِثُونَ
“Indeed it is We who give life and bring death and We are the inheritors.” 15:23

Al Waarith reminds us of where we come from and what we will take with us as inheritors.

LEAVING A LEGACY
Leaving the world a better place that the way you found it.
It is that which is inextricably  linked with your mere mention. In essence it is how you wish to be remembered.
Imagine your funeral—no matter what your age. Your family and friends have gathered to honour your life. But what do you leave behind? Beyond the contents of your last will and testament, what part of you remains on earth even after you’ve passed away?. 
A legacy is that which you create to benefit future generations – something you may not even see in your lifetime.
If we reframe our actions by thinking of the future impact we can create, it can inspire us to do great things.
