وَإِنَّ اللَّهَ بِكُمْ لَرَءُوفٌ رَحِيمٌ
“… and indeed Allah is the Only One Who understands and is extra kind to Believers. ” 57:9
Al Rauf is a more intensified form of Rahmaan and Raheem.
Even in times of distress and affliction, Al Rauf shows tenderness.
“No Muslim is afflicted with any harm but that Allah will remove his sins as the leaves of a tree fall down.” Prophet Muhammad (pbuh)
Al Rauf awakens in the heart a quality of gentleness, kindness and friendliness. It wants the best for all humanity without pain.
“Be merciful to those on the earth, and the One above the heavens will have mercy on you.” Prophet (pbuh)
On the day of Judgement, Allah will ask, “O son of Adam, I was sick but you dod not visit me”
The human being will say “O my Master, You are the Master of the world, how could I have visited you?”
Allah will say “One of My servants was sick but you did not visit him; had you visited him, you would have found Me by him.”
Recite Yaa Rauf frequently to fill the heart with compassion and have access to the means to help those in need.
