كَيْفَ تَكْفُرُونَ بِاللَّهِ وَكُنْتُمْ أَمْوَاتًا فَأَحْيَاكُمْ ۖ ثُمَّ يُمِيتُكُمْ ثُمَّ يُحْيِيكُمْ ثُمَّ إِلَيْهِ تُرْجَعُونَ
How can you deny Allah; you were lifeless and He gave you life, then He will make you die and then bring you to life, and then you will be brought back to Him? 2:28
Death is Allah’s will – Al Mumeet is the ultimate cause of the death of every living being.
كُلُّ نَفْسٍ ذَائِقَةُ الْمَوْتِ ۖ ثُمَّ إِلَيْنَا تُرْجَعُونَ
Every soul shall taste death. Then you shall be brought back to Us. 29:57
Our bodies die, but the soul never dies. Death is a state of being for living things. It does not mean non-existence or nothingness. It exists as another state from which our lives transcend.
When we are born, adhan (call for prayer) is recited in our ears. There is no adhan for the salaa (prayers) of death for it was recited at birth.
No one knows when they will die. It is Al Mumeet who determines the time and place of death.
What we can do is live the one life we have been given to submit to Divinity and serve His creation.
Recite Yaa Mumeet frequently to control negative influences within and those from outside.
