40 AL HASEEB – THE ACCOUNTER

THE ACCOUNTER WHO TAKES ACCOUNT OF EVERYTHING APPARENT AND HIDDEN AND CALCULATES PRECISELY. HE WHO IS NOT FOOLED BY APPEARANCES. THE ONE TO WHOM WE ARE ACCOUNTABLE TO AND THE ONE WHO SUFFICES.

إِنَّ اللَّهَ كَانَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ حَسِيبًا
“….indeed Allah takes account of all things.” 4:86

If we reflect on the universe, we will see a flawless accounting system. And if we look at the precise computations in the working of our body we see the attribute of Al Haseeb in every aspect. Al Haseeb will present to the human being on the day of accounting (Qiyama) a precise record of everything they have done.

وَنَضَعُ الْمَوَازِينَ الْقِسْطَ لِيَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ فَلَا تُظْلَمُ نَفْسٌ شَيْئًا ۖ وَإِنْ كَانَ مِثْقَالَ حَبَّةٍ مِنْ خَرْدَلٍ أَتَيْنَا بِهَا ۗ وَكَفَىٰ بِنَا حَاسِبِينَ
“And We will set up a just balance on the day of resurrection (accounting) , so no soul shall be dealt with unjustly in the least; and We will show even the deed with a weight of a grain of mustard seed, and We are sufficient in taking account. 21:47

Do not disregard even the smallest of deeds – be it a smile – for it may be that which will take you to Janna.

The greatest gift we have been given is life (time) which we spend with every breath we take. Life is about obedience to the Creator and serving His creation. On the day of Accounting (Qiyaama) we will be accountable to Al Haseeb for every moment.

”Call your own selves to account before you yourselves are called on to account for them.” Prophet Muhammad (pbuh)

اقْرَأْ كِتَابَكَ كَفَىٰ بِنَفْسِكَ الْيَوْمَ عَلَيْكَ حَسِيبًا
‘Read your book! Today your soul suffices as your own accounter’ 17:14

Recite YAA HASEEB for safety from problems and difficulties and from the cruelty or jealousy of other human beings.
