خَافِضَةٌۭ رَّافِعَةٌ
“It (the day of judgement) will Humble and Raise”. 56:3
Although painful, when Al Khaafidh humbles arrogance and lies, it is a gift for those who see He Who is in control of humbling and elevating.
Firawn was a tyrant who bullied the Bani Israail. When Prophet Musa (pbuh) visited him with his brother asking for the Bani Israail to be freed he refused but relented every time Divinity sent a sign to humble his people. Eventually they left Egypt but Firawn followed with his army. He saw the parting of the sea but even that did not deter him and he pursued Prophet Musa (pbuh) and the Bani Israail. Only when he was drowning, did he realise that that it is Allah who is Al Khaafidh (humbles) and Ar Raafi’ (elevates) and he believed in the Master of Musa and Harun.
The Qur’an says about Firawn, “So today We will deliver your body (Firawn) so that you may be a sign to those who come after you, and most surely most people are heedless of Our signs” 10:92
Yaa Khaafidh
I desperately need you. Let me accept that the lessons You teach me through the abasement of my sins to see the elevation that forgiveness brings.
You are my refuge from my own ego (Edges God Out) .
Recite YAA KHAAFIDH for protection of harm from others.
