06 AL MU’MIN – THE FAITHFUL

INSPIRER OF FAITH – GIVER OF SECURITY & SAFETY – THE ONE WHO GIVES US THE FIFT OF FAITH WHICH MAKES US LOYAL TO ALLAH AND TO OTHER HUMAN BEINGS.

هُوَ ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِى لَآ إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ ٱلْمَلِكُ ٱلْقُدُّوسُ ٱلسَّلَٰمُ ٱلْمُؤْمِنُ ٱلْمُهَيْمِنُ ٱلْعَزِيزُ ٱلْجَبَّارُ ٱلْمُتَكَبِّرُ ۚ
He is Allah, besides Whom there is no god; the King, the Holy, the Giver of peace, the Giver of security, Guardian over all, the Mighty, the Enforcer, the Possessor of every greatness 59:23

Faith (Eimaan) is about trusting in Allah. In essence knowing that He has our best interest at heart in every situation (even when they are tested)

“Do people believe that they will be left to say “We have faith!” And they will not be tested?” 29:2 

“If you were to have faith in Allah as He should be relied on, He would provide for you as He provides for the birds. They go out early in the morning hungry and return in the evening full” Prophet Muhammad (pbuh)

Faith is comprised of two halves:
“Sabr (perseverance) and Shukr (thankfulness)” 

“How amazing is the case of the believer; there is good for him in everything, and this characteristic is exclusively for him alone. If he experiences something pleasant, he is thankful, and that is good for him; and if he comes across some diversity, he is patient, and that is good for him.” Prophet Muhammad (pbuh)

وَٱلْمُؤْمِنُونَ وَٱلْمُؤْمِنَٰتُ بَعْضُهُمْ أَوْلِيَآءُ بَعْضٍ
And (as for) the believing men and the believing women, they are protectors  of each other…… 9:71

“Faith (Eimaan) is verbal declaration, verification with the heart manifested in actions” Imam Ali (pbuh)
It is not only a relationship with Allah but its manifestation in interaction with creation. 

“The  best of human beings are those that benefit humankind” Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) 

Recite YAA MU’MIN for safety from anguish and freedom from being egoistic.
